Sorry I wasnt able to take any pictures since i realized it happened around 10 o clock at night and i took it to get fixked early in the morning, but the price that I ended paying for was 987 dollars for something that somebody else wanted to do for 550. But to be sure and since i heard these guys are really good id rather pay the extra money, the car is only 2 months old couldnt do a cheap job at all.

Thats definitely a lot worse than mine, sorry to hear that but let me know if the job came out good, if it is noticeable in any point, I'm a little nervous because the car is brand new and i want to see what kind of job they do.

My deductible was 500 dollars and i had to put an extra 4 out of my own pocket so it really wasnt worth going through the insurance, but I was more concerned wih how well the work is going to come out rather than money. Infiniti and a few other places around smithtown told me he does great work that is the only reason why I brought my car there. Would you say there overall work is pretty good??

sorry man, happened to me while i was in Mahanttan chinatown... 3 months after i got the car...

bumper scratches still on the car. didn't bother to fix it, since they will come back.. soon or later. This is my first new brand new car, also my last... I hate to always worry about the scratches.

good luck though.

wow.

as far as your G goes, i would also recommend taking it to an independent body shop for the same reason above. Either way, you insurance company should be covering you for expenses so i suppose it doesn't matter.

good luck man.
Yeah I am pretty sure the cat got vaporized cuz I didnt see any blood/guts anywhere on the bumper or undercarriage. I was actually riding shotgun and my friend was driving cuz I was feeling a bit tired, so he insists on paying for the work, so I am not paying anything out my pocket or claiming insurance. Anyways my local infiniti dealership doesnt even do collision work! They contract it out to some body shop which I hadnt heard of, so I am using a shop Ive used before. One thing though, there is not a scratch on the paint job, the clear bra did its job. The bad part is that Ill need to get a new bra now... here is a picture, theres no blood, its just the shadows on the bumper btw.

Im sorry to hear. NYC is a pain to drive and park, and espeically when things like this happen, i always say jus park in a parking lot. I know its expensive, but msot of the times its worth it. Saves more than getting parking tickets, or getting ur car f*cked up.

Good luck!

as for the cat thing.....im sorry about ur front bumper! but that is a really funny story!

The body shop actually hammered out the dent, now if you look at it you cant even tell it was in an accident, unfortunately the bottom part that attaches to the shield was ripped off beyond repair so I needed a new bumper. The bumper didnt even crack! That clear bra is the shiznit!!
