Pissed as a motherf*****
Sorry I wasnt able to take any pictures since i realized it happened around 10 o clock at night and i took it to get fixked early in the morning, but the price that I ended paying for was 987 dollars for something that somebody else wanted to do for 550. But to be sure and since i heard these guys are really good id rather pay the extra money, the car is only 2 months old couldnt do a cheap job at all.
Thats definitely a lot worse than mine, sorry to hear that but let me know if the job came out good, if it is noticeable in any point, I'm a little nervous because the car is brand new and i want to see what kind of job they do.

I had my work done at sal's. I had two key marks. One on the driver's side door. The other key mark stretches from the front of the car to the back of the car on the passenger side. It cost my insurance 3200 to fix. The price should be fair since an appraiser from my insurance was present.
Sal does a pretty good job, but not the BEST. The first time I picked up my car, I was really happy. Everything looked fine. After a couple of weeks, I noticed that the paint was kind of poorly done on one panel. There is a possibility that it isn't their fault, because I had previous work done on that certain panel.
Everything was ok. If you want the BEST, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you are ok with ok work, than leave your car at sal's. My best advice is for you to have an appraiser from your insurance company present. That way, the appraiser would be the one that makes sure the price is fair. ONLY do this if your deductible doesn't cover it!

My deductible was 500 dollars and i had to put an extra 4 out of my own pocket so it really wasnt worth going through the insurance, but I was more concerned wih how well the work is going to come out rather than money. Infiniti and a few other places around smithtown told me he does great work that is the only reason why I brought my car there. Would you say there overall work is pretty good??
sorry man, happened to me while i was in Mahanttan chinatown... 3 months after i got the car...
bumper scratches still on the car. didn't bother to fix it, since they will come back.. soon or later. This is my first new brand new car, also my last... I hate to always worry about the scratches.
good luck though.

wow.
as far as your G goes, i would also recommend taking it to an independent body shop for the same reason above. Either way, you insurance company should be covering you for expenses so i suppose it doesn't matter.
good luck man.

Im sorry to hear. NYC is a pain to drive and park, and espeically when things like this happen, i always say jus park in a parking lot. I know its expensive, but msot of the times its worth it. Saves more than getting parking tickets, or getting ur car f*cked up.
Good luck!
as for the cat thing.....im sorry about ur front bumper! but that is a really funny story!
