Re: Borla Installed

here is a pic of the right-rear hanger that is a bit off for me.
3 of the 4 hangers are 1/2" off for me, as gsedanman said, angeling the hangers a bit would have helped make perfect fitment for them.
The system is rock solid though, it will not fall off because most of the hanger is being supported, although i wish 100% of the hanger was. I'd say about 33% of the hanger is out of the rubber socket as you can see in the pic below

Re: Borla Installed

Mani, Sorry for the delay answering, man. Things haven't been right since that freakin' blackout. Now the site is real slow again, and takes forever to navigate anything.
Not sure about freer reving at high rpm's but I describe it as stronger. If it's only 8 hp at the wheels, it's very noticeable. The sound difference is so cool. A very deep rumble, not as deep as a V8 but deep none the less. Not loud and distracting at all. Gets fairly loud when you open her up from about 4k and up, but below that it's quite stealthy, and attracts little attention. Not droning at all even with the windows down, just a pleasant rumble. Adds some needed character to a fairly quiet stock exhaust.
I think you'll like it.

Re: Borla Installed

Tabz, I haven't noticed any excess heat buildup around the console/ cupholder/ shifter areas. With 2 pipes instead of one, I wouldn't be surprised if there were more heat there tho.

GSM, sounds awesome man. Enjoy it!

Now I just need to find someone who has it so I can listen to it.

Re: Borla Installed

gsedanman,
came home after a 45min drive and i brushed against the rear bumper and man it seemed to be really hot, more so than normal. Mind you it was a very warm day here in TO today but still.
See if you have the same problem or keep an eye out about heating issues

Re: Borla Installed

Tabz, Ok bro, I'll watch out for any excess heat buildup anywhere. I'll bet you're noticing more heat because the weather is hotter lately.
If I see my rear bumper warping, I'll holler (you'll hear me all the way from Cambridge, lol)
