damn, i've had that part for months and never got around to installing it. just went out now and pried the old cap off with a pocket knife then installed the new one so easily.

I saved this information from an earlier post, but forgot about it until now. I haven't looked the numbers up, but you could call your dealer and verify them before ordering.

ancient thread revive!!! just put on my new escutcheon cover. went to go into my car and my original one was gone. most frustrating $25 piece of plastic i have ever had to buy. but now its on, easiest install ever haha, and my car doesnt look neglected anymore.

Really do not need to take out the plug and screw in the door. You can pop it off and new one in 30 seconds with the door closed.
