the only time i do burn outs is when the tires are brand new and need to
remove the release lube. some tires take forever for that release lube to
wear out.

otherwise, i rarely do burnouts. just not suited for my clean, fast
driving style.

I just hold the "A" button at launch and the car automaticly does a nice burn out. That's on the XBox, you might have to hold a different button on the G35, but I am not sure.

Its fun once in a while. Automatic is easy, hold down the break hard, pres down the gas, its been getting easier with each mod I do. But deffenitely, drifting, and over steer is much much more fun than burn outs.

obviously no one has told you that when u press both the brake and gas pedal at the same time. the ecu cuts the power. to get around this, you have to pull the brake fuse. someone also sells a switch, so you don't have to pull the fuse everytime a burnout is wanted...
This was for a beginner at burnouts. He obviously was having problems and putting unwanted stress on the drivetrain. All I was saying is that to learn, he may be better off practicing on a slick surface, ie; Rain.

As for the ECU pulling power, this may be true, but it doesn't keep my 5AT G from sitting and burning them down if I want (which I also don't do often, but perhaps 2-3 times). I've never had to pull any fuses...

VDC OFF via the switch in the cabin will only turn VDC off when you are NOT on the brake pedal. If you are pressing the brakes, VDC is on as part of the ABS system. This makes it hard to do "brake stands" or "burn outs" Basically you shouldn't do it because the car is actively trying to stop it from happening and you might damage parts of your car.

If you want VDC off for "on the brake" time you're going to have to pull a fuse or a wire or something

If you have a manual and want to do a burnout, you can heel-toe it. But that is pretty hard. You' ve got to have experience to do it properly.

you'll want a line lock, having the brakes on on the rear wheels isnt going to make for a good burnout. i don't know why you'd want to do this on a g anyways.

???? Doing a burnout in a manual is the easiest thing in the world...Rev it up to about 5k, drop clutch let tires spin...done, hell you dont even have to do that, if you're really good.

My absolute favorite is taking my friends out for a little 0-80 mph action, chirping the tires in 2nd and 3rd gear. Man, in 2nd gear if you hit it good, those tires will do more than chirp, they'll spin up for a few secs. Fun car

better not try that, the G will slip the clutch when dropping the clutch above 3k if i'm not mistaken.

Haha, I think Nissan didn't want their cars portraited as criminals' choice of weapon, so they wouldn't license cars for the game. Kind of funny. I am just happy the G35C is in Kaidou Battle 2, GT4 and NFSU2.
