210 Miles on my car and already a check engine light!

Why would this happen on a brand new car i only put 210 miles on??

check your fuel cap...make sure when you turn it, it clicks 3 times at least

go to autozone and get the code pulled and cleared... or just buy a
OBD2 scanner.... i have one in my garage.

i have the same issue, bro. you might need to have some parts orderd for your car. try the obvious first (fuel cap, etc.) if that doesnt work, take it to the service dept of your dealership and have them look into it. but dont even sweat it...brand new car, you'll get the issue resolved.

Had this happen twice on my '05, both times it was a miscommunication in the computer of some sort. How does that scanner connect?

210 miles on your new car? Take it in to the dealer and let them worry about it. I trust they resolve any issues in sort time.

Hey Tom, Easy peasy....lol, : There's on OBD port under the dash just forward of your left knee. It's white, about 1"x2" and points down to the floor.

Plugging in the scanner is just a matter of pushing in the interface connector which goes in only one way.

A scanner is a cool tool, not expensive, and real handy at times.
