When I bought the car yesterday I asked the dealer if it was possible to put an 05 spoiler on an 06 model and he said sure, but that they could not do it, but he knew a good wing place down the street that they would contract it out to. The spoiler is supposed to come in early next week, I'll post a pic when I get it put on...if you can wait that long. IMO the '05 wing looks 100 times cooler.

I'd go with the '06 spoiler. The '05 washboards look like booty, IMO.

It's the same decklid so either spoiler will work. We give our customers the choice of which one they want.

But can you switch spoilers after one is installed?

The 06 spoiler is so tight...like a porsche like spoiler. People will see it just takes time

I think the 05 spoiler is more Porsche-like in that it is reminiscient of the Carerra whale-tails in a way. The 06 spoiler is IDENTICAL to a 1986 300ZX spoiler. I should know, I had one. I guess they must've had some sitting around in a warehouse and figured they'd fit on the 06 G coupe's trunk lid.

Here's a pic, not my car but its what I'm talking about. They added these spoilers when center high-mount stop lamps were mandated in 1986. Same spoiler that was basically on the 1985 Nissan 50th Anniv. 300ZX turbo.

Good luck making your decision! You could just go without a spoiler and go for the mean-and-clean look!
