I ordered the Skyline badge and noticed that it doesnt come with a template like the 350GT badge. How did some of you put it on or how did you know how far down from the infiniti logo to put it on the car.

any tips / advise would be appreciated.

I think someone mention this before. Do a search on it.

Here is how i do it. First remove the original infiniti emblem by using the hair dryer to apply some heat. Then use the dental floss or fishing line to glide thru the lettering. Then i use my eye and a friend pair of eyes to mount the skyline. Hehehehe...i think my eyes and my friends eyes are screw up. The lettering is kinda off but not much. So take your time on centering the skyline portion.

Now the 350gt should be easy because it come with a template.

well, at least the kit comes with some type of template so you get the spacing of the letters right :P

i would agree with g35mt, do it with a friend, and just eyeball.. but before you start, look at other people who have put on the skyline badge or some JDM pics and get an idea of where it belongs.. that's what i did.. but really, you can put it wherever you want..
