can you switch synthetic oil brands?

Well basically i got Pennzoil synthetic oil today at jiffy lube, I was told they never carry mobil 1 synthetic oil. the guy told me next oil change is 4500 miles... by the way, I currently have 7600 miles on my 2005

my question is for the next oil change if i switch to mobil1 synthetic oil? is that bad?

Any good quality oil can be used interchangeably with any other good quality oil. Spend some time on BITOG and you'll find out more about oil than you ever wanted to know. There are guys out there who use more than one brand of oil at the same time to get the characteristics of both. To me, that's getting a mite carried away, but to each his own.
