That is a nice project. I would love to own something like this for a week or two.
There is a guy down the street with a wide body '92 MR2. It must have been really cool when that was first done up but 10 years later he looked as if he was stuck in the 90's. Spent too much money on something you can't let go cause no one else would appreciate the work. Can an overmodified mass produced car considered a classic...
Personally, I am not into paying someone loads of cash to overmodifying cars. I can't even consider it a hobby if all I did was drop the car off pick a kit, colour, wheels etc. Really, projects like these are to show how much $ people are willing to throw into the economy. That's great btw. If people can afford toys like these without financing then more power to them.

I got a question and I hope it hasn't been discussed before (I scanned over most of the bickering)
Do you have a TS1 front bumper? It looks like it has some fitment issues like the one I have. The major one being the gap where the hood meets the grille.
btw, mad props for taking on such a project.

OK....with that out of the way, some info about the Roberuta system. The system was originally designed for the front, which is why the rears are optional. The system comes with switches that can be mounted in the interior of the vehicle. The optional remote can control everything as well and looks like a car alarm remote that goes on your keychain. The cups will raise the vehicle approx. 3 inches. They can be adapted to virtually any coilover if we know the diameter of the shaft on the damper of the coilover. (sorry, it won't work on spring/shock setups)
When the system is empty, the cups are just like having a metal spacer on your suspension. (this is why you adjust the alignment in this state) Because there is no air in the system, there is no give and you won't even notice the cups are there. (this is where airbags/hydros/air shocks hinder performance) We had the system installed on our V35 GT-R when it did 341km/h, on our time attack Z33, and we're continuing to use it on future demo vehicles. The system is actually very popular among Ferrari owners in Japan.
The install isn't difficult if you're good with tools but I'd reccomend taking it to be installed at a shop that has installed airbags or hydros if you're not confident that you can do it as running the airlines safely is quite important.
The car looks like it's coming along nicely! (but it definatly needs a wing! hehe)
