Sorry, I gotta chime in too. I am not a fan of this car. Great choice on the suspension components. That Roberuta stuff is trick, and something I can never afford. Love the GT-C's and the fat lip. I do drool over widebody kits, and this is no exception. However, I've never liked the Top Secret front at all. The rear isn't too bad, and I actually think the color (is it called Noble Gold?) is pretty cool for a show car...not a daily driver. Overall, one thumb up, one thumb down...haha...

This is ugly enough IMO. But you went ahead and added lights to your rear bumper? WTF?

Not only that, but your fuel tank cap doesnt even fit the car. The car is curvy and the metal cap you put is straight. You can see a gap between the car's body and the cap.

 

geezz.... this is only in progress pics and most parts are temp-fit. however some comments like "WTF" is really not nice thing to say.

The reason everyone likes the "cookie cutter stuff" is because most of it looks really freaking sweet-- You start getting into these TS widebody kits and custom shop body kits and your looking like an integra with a conversion kit.

To each his own-- But I think you would have been much happier saving 40k and putting a conversion kit on your integra.

I saw a WHITE (not IP) and ORANGE coupe yesterday with a fugly custom body kit... I'm glad he broke out of the norm...

Give me a gaila grill, Ings+1 Lip, Greddy sides and back, with some of bats overlays on the front... And a nice set of gunmetal or black with chrome lip rims

hey Jtrain. I don't know what's your story with topsecret but when I ordered my wheel. Rays engeering made mistake and it took 9 months!!! that's right freaking 9 Months!!!!! now if I start going into all these web sites and start sayin something like "VOLK RACING IS A JOKE"!!! how does that sound????
people do make mistakes and it happenes all the time in this business.

i say the project is going... great. nice to see something different. but i do see its a work inprogress so no need for harsh judgements. i only wished TS smoothed out the edges on rear of the widebody kit. besides that cant wait to see the final result. keep it up and good luck.

 

Dude i say forget about the people that hate. Do what you like and what you think is good. thats why i tend to stay away from the boards sometimes because 90% of the time people are bias and tend to sway your style.

But other then that i say keep up the good work, it takes patience and a big wallet to put together a car like that
