When I took a trip to SF last year, I saw this car with kinda buzzar window tinting going on. That time I thought it was weird, but the more I think of it, I would like to have it done for my car also. Basically the windows had silver color on top and it was about just couple inches thick and the rest window had normal tint in it. ( I know any kind of reflector on window is illegal in CA) what is this tint called? Does anyone have this kinda tinting going on? any pics?

 

I think you're referring to mirror tint. I know a lot of people think it looks tacky, but I personally think it's cool, depending on the color of the car. I saw an IP coupe with mirror tint that looked really clean. And it's spelled *bizarre.

 

yea its a mirror tint gradiant. They also have full mirror tint. The gradiant is legal in most states, unlike the full mirror.

i usually don't see it on nice cars. the nicest car i've seen that kind of tint on was an Acura TL. to tell you the truth, i've seen the regular with a reflective mirror trim tint on really beater cars. don't really know how it would look on a G35, but hey who knows, it might look good

 

I think the gradient mirror tint looks nice either on black or IP rydes, but it's tacky if it's full mirrored tint.

i agree with the last post...but be careful, honestly as what others are saying. it's a g35...not a civic. don't make it too tacky
