Getting new rotors/pads/lines for my 04 6mt Coupe - Comments on this combo?

2004 G35 Coupe 6mt w/Brembos

I'm registered for a Track Day in April (1.33m flat road course).
I need new brakes before then -
something that is OK for street use but can handle 90 minutes of aggressive tracking.
I love my Brembos, so no BBK.
I don't want to give up ANY performance - No loss of initial bite, feel, no fade, etc.

My research has resulted in this combo:
Project MU Rotors (SCR ($400) or SCR Pro ($725))
Project MU pads (HC+ or NR or B-spec or B-force)
Stillen stainless steel brake lines.
Motul 600 Dot 4 fluid.

My questions:
1. Project MU in general - anyone (with BREMBOs) have any experience/comments?
2. Project MU pads (HC+ or NR or B-spec or..) - Any comments?
3. Stillen SS Lines - they advertise a 6- or 8-line vs 4-line? Is this better or what experience do you have with SS lines? StopTech instead?
4. Preferred rotors besides Project MU? I'm pretty much sold on the pads, but the rotors?
5. I see the stage 2 upgrade kits which include rotors/pads/lines/fluid, but I don't think I want the Hawk pads. I think i'd rather roll my own. Comments on Rotor/Pad combos?

Thanx in Advance!!

I also have an '04 6mt and I just replaced my OEM Brembos a few months ago. I relpaced them with OEM sized Brembo slotted rotors and Project MU NS pads. I bought the rotors from Import Replacement Parts (they are a sponsor on these boards) for abround $700. I still haven't slammed on the brakes to see how they compare to the old Brembos, but the initial bite feels the same as before. The Project MU pads put out MUCH less brake dust. My only complaint is that the brake pads squeal until they are warmed up. They will squeal for a minute or so and then they don't emit any noise.

Look in the Vendor Marketplace under Brakes. The sponsor, importrp, sells OEM Brembo's for $315 a pair (front and rear) and they come either slotted or drilled. And these are genuine, cast slotted or drilled. For pads, I would suggest Hawk HP+($200) and Goodridge SS Brake Lines($100).

I was on the 350Z forums and a lot of people had complaints with the Hawk pads...said that the initial bite wasn't as good as the originals. More people actually recommended the Project Mu pads.

Yes, this is how I got turned on to the Project Mu pads.
Hawk pads seem to get positive marks in non-brembo applications, but people like the Mu pads better on the Brembos.

I also like Dan's suggestion to go with the Brembo rotors from importrp.
Those look like one-piece rotors.
Does a two-piece rotor have a much bigger advantage?
I just notice that the Stoptech Aero rotors are 2-piece. (they're also $700/front pair).

Good info folks....keep it coming.
Is ANYONE using the Stillen SS brake lines?
