Just got my rear axle fixed. Clicking Noise from rear.

The Work Order Indicates:

Perform ITBO-002B. ( Remove both rear axles, Lube Splines, Replace.

Parts:
Bolt-39606-22POO 12
Nut-39607-03POO 12
Washer- Spring-8915-2401A 12
Pin-Cotter- 4073-0l700 2

CE Washer/Bolts/Nuts.

I hope they did everything that is needed to permanently fix the problem.

What did your 05 G coupe TSB invoices say. I would like to compare.

I don't hear any clicking on my 05 6MT is that for all G's?

When am I supposed to hear it?

 

Thought this would be a good thread. We could see what other dealers did to fix this TSB.

This is a somewhat old problem. I got mine fixed about 8months ago and the problem havnt returned =).

 

Yea i know. The G35 has had this issue since 03. I think the 05 does not need the same work as the 03/04 to fix the noise. I was wondering what 05 owners TSB service order indicated.

 

What kind of clicking noise is it? When does it happen? I have a clicking noise when I first start my car and step on the brakes. But I just think those are the calipers locking in place after not driving the car for a while.

 

i thought the axles were supposed to be replaced...
