TB - Leave Side Moldings or Take em off?

I have a twilight blue coupe with side moldings. Do you think it would look better without them or is it ok with the dark color. (on light colors it looks clean w/o them).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I guess I'll take them off. Does anyone have any instruction on removing them and causing absolutely no damage?

TB is one of the few colors that can have the side moldings. I had them for about two years and no one ever really noticed them.

Since then I've taken them off. I like the clean look. Just park far away or find a good paintless dent repair place.

OFF OFF OFF.

They look horrible on any car, any color. FAR worse than any possible door ding would look in my honest opinion.

I like mine, I'm not a fan of the
"clean" look

Clean to me = Plain

One other minor thing that is worth mentioning is that you will never have to worry about that last bit of water that gets under the molding after a car wash. It's much easier to wax the car as well.

Without. They don't offer that much protection and, IMO, cause the eye to be drawn to them, rather than allowing the eye to follow the natural curves of the car. But to each his own.

Side moldings...............?

Lets see, side moldings.......last car I had those on
was my '82 Trans Am. White car, white moldings
you could hardly see them. Fast forward 2006, na
take those ugly things off.......quick hurry. Oh yea
get rid of those curb feelers too....haha One
very good thing, without the moldings you'll have
to park away from all those mothers driving your
normal SUV with her f..king brats. (the ones that
kick the doors open) And besides, walking is good
for ya.........
