Coupe compared to other cars

Coupe compared to other cars
Ive done a lot of reading on this forum about the coupe and Im leaning heavily into getting one, but I have yet to drive a 6MT and wanted to see if anyone out there has done so and can compare it to cars such as the corvette, prelude, 3rd gen rx7tt, or something comparable.
I realize the coupe is designed to be a high performance luxury vehicle so im interested in all the characteristics associated with it as well as feel, maintenance, comfort.
1) shift linkage - smooth or stiff
2) oil changes -difficulty/ease....synthetic -probably?
3) lifting the car - can jack car w/out body damage
4) climate control - actually work right w/out constantly changing it?
5) steering feedback - numb or right on
6) other irritating quirks? rattles, pulling to the right, burning oil, you know what I mean...![Smilie](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
7) also, is the car built in japan, or domestic....makes a big diff. i think
The reason im asking these questions is because I had a '93 rx7 and loved to drive it, best car Ive ever driven, reliability was horrible though. I had a 2000 corvette but it had so many quirks it drove me crazy- it would take me pages to tell you all the irritants w/that car, but I LOVED the power. Right now I have a 2001 prelude and w/the exception of needing more power, I love this car. Great gearshift, great steering feedback, comfortable, not too large so I feel like part of the car not a passenger.
Im hoping the g35 coupe will satisfy the luxury, power and quality in a car im looking for. Im hoping you guys can enlighten me w/your experiences w/the car.
Thanks in advanced!

Re: Coupe compared to other cars
I think you'll like the combo of power, looks and luxury in the 6MT. Not to mention for the $$ it cannot be beat.
1) Shift linkage - very smooth w/ very short throws
2) ? haven't done it but I hear it's a pain w/ the aero package
3) ?
4) so far so good but it's wintertime so I haven't run it during the different seasons
5) excellent, better than I expected
6) way too new to tell
7) built in japan
As for quirks, every car has them some fewer than others. This car is built rock solid should bring years of fun miles.
My $.02!
