I got too jealous of your SG so I traded in my TiAg

It's actually a very long story how it happened, I can tell you some other time because I don't want to jack the guy's thread =) How's yours, have you driven the G at all since you got it?

I was debating M3 or G35 Coupe when I bought my G... dunno what about the G made me buy it but I think its probably cuz there are too many BMW's driving around the area... and I just wanted something different... but I do love the M3! Congrats on the new car!!! Its one of the sexiest/quickest/funnest cars out there!

Grats but why would you get an e46 m3 when new one is just around the corner. That's what I am waiting for. I would get the current gen M but that whole engine blow up fiasco will drive me nuts. I will be constantly thinking "**** did i revved too hard back there? will my engine blow?"

??? Seriously??? The standard 3 series doesn't even come close to an M..... and at least I'm separating myself with the ever-growinging crowd of G owners

How much is your monthly with that type of financing, just out of curiousity?
I probably won't keep it more than 4 or 5 years, and my credit is good enough that the interest rate won't be a big deal. I believe my payments will actually come out less than what I'm paying for the G, around $500/month compared to $570/month now!

Yeah, well they're basically in the same category, just two different tiers. They're both sexy, classy, luxury sports coupes, the M is just faster and you pay a bit more for the BMW name than you do Infiniti, plus you buy into a bit more exclusivity (BIG draw for me, when I got my G, nobody had it, within a few months they were popping up all over the place!)

I learned my lesson when I bought this car.... NO MORE NEW CARS... The depreciation hit is just too much, so why not let some one else take that burden for me and buy a barely-used 1 or 2 year old car, especially since I'm such a car ***** myself and won't keep anything more than 4 or 5 years! Plus I like to wait a few years after a new model is released to make sure all the bugs get worked out. Just the way I am.
And the new E90 just makes me wanna throw up in my mouth.
