Suprised? Insurance cost.

Ok well I been considering getting a G coupe in the next year or so. Anyway I called up my Allstate agent to get a quote on the price. I couldn't really believe how cheap she quoted me, for a 2004 G35 coupe under my parents plan...I was quoted $730 every six months for the coupe on FULL COVERAGE. Im 21 years old with no reckless tickets or DUI's and with a good student discount. Does that sound about right?

insurance really depend on were you live and how many cars are in the policy. I pay 1100 every six months but because my wife has to be in my policy and she had a few accidents.

486 and would been about 60 bucks cheaper if I done it quicker. Full coverage 500 buck deduc.
I was surprised too, I had a 97 mustang before and full coverage ran me about 120 ( have/had tickets and one accident on my record)
when I got my coupe (i'm 26), it came up to 486 bucks for 6 months and would have been cheaper if I made the dead line

Ya, my insurance dropped when i switched from v6 eclipse to the G. Seemed weird, they said "due to the cars unlikely hood of being salvaged or stolen, based on statistics."

Ya I guess you guys are right, that does seem about right, I am in Virginia BTW. Anyway I was just curious about the insurance becuase when I was 20 I had a 2003 Accord V6 coupe that I was paying like 1100 every 6 months for, and I didn't know it just one year my insurance quote for a G35 would be cheaper than a accord. Anyways, thanx for the insight, hopefully Ill have a G to insure in the near future.

hmm, ya that makes sense too, never hear about too many stolen G's, and I guess they have more safety features too.
