Im 21 years old with no reckless tickets or DUI's and with a good student discount. Does that sound about right?
While not the cheapest in the world, that's a decent quote, just a little over what I'm paying. My wife and I are both 48 and my G is *only* for pleasure use as we have 4 cars for 3 drivers. Now we have a fairly high coverage policy, including a $1,000,000 umbrella liability policy.

To be honest, it would be a LOT cheaper if my 17 year old daughter wasn't living in the house. (Although she's rated as the primary driver on an older Honda). Our other three are a 99 Caddy, 05 Denali XL, and of course the 06 6MT Coupe.

One thing for EVERYONE that will save you a BIG CHUNK O' MONEY. Find a local drunk driver/defensive driver course. They typically run $60~$75 for a Saturday 5~6 course. After taking the course you will get a HUGE discount off your insurance rates. The wife, kid, and myself are going (my insurance guy is a personal friend and his wife also teaches the course). After getting the certificate, we'll save $178.00 ever 6 months for THREE FREAKING YEARS.

it doesnt matter how clean your driving record is... its more based on where you live (ZIP codes). and when you got a quote from your all state agent it was probably as an extra vehicle... or unless you live in a smaller city w/o a lot of claims..
ive never seen a 21 year old get full coverage for 700$ on a g35.. let alone a civic.

i work for state farm.
