New to G35 Driver, starting first mod

Fellas, I'm new to the Club so forgive me if I ask a question that's already been discussed. I purchased a 2003 Ivory Pearl G35 6spd with prem pkg and aero pkg a few months ago. After joining and reading several threads, I've already ordered the Z-tube and K&N drop-in. I'm considering the plenum spacing but just want to make sure I understand a few things first. From what I gather, the 05-06 manuals have what's called a revup engine that is not available in any AT or 03-04 manual. Is there any upgrade that will get the "non-revup" engine to the stock 298HP of the revup engine? Does anyone make a chip for this car, as I've never seen it discussed? How much HP will I yield from the 5/16 plenum spacer on my 03 6MT? I've read gains of up to 20HP on the revup engine, but since the MREV cannot be installed on my car, I'm wondering if this is a worthwhile mod. Sorry for the long thread, but appreciate all feedback. Located in Charlotte, NC, so if there is a local G35 club, let me know, thanks!

Ummmmmm, NO. Do the exhaust (cat-back, H/F cats) and intake (z-tube, filter, plenum spacer) and you'll see some decent improvements over stock. Probably around 20-30 hp, but you'll spend anywhere from 1K - 2K to get there. So you decide, is 1hp worth $75 - 100?

i have the motordyne iso thermal spacer, it works great! loved it, definately felt a throttle response increase and hp, but my TD caused my loss in low end torque! go for it! they're all great mods!
