DO your heated seats take a really long time to heat up????? Mine seem to heat up and then cool down heat up cool down. Whats up with them?

 

I have a sedan with heated seats. I used them in the AZ ‘winter’ and I never noticed any temperature fluctuations. I wouldn’t think it’d be different with the coupe…

My passenger once turned on MY heated seats accidentally and I felt it pretty quickly and unmistakenly. But that's subjective anyway.

Now it is true that, like all heating devices, our heated seats are, I assume, controlled by thermostats, which means it is in a constant cycle of heating up and cooling down (or they'll just get hotter and hotter and eventually overheat). That said, however, it is hard to imagine the fluctuation being noticeable.

Mine get very warm very quickly. In fact, when it is really cold out or I need some heat after the gym, I usually turn them onto low. The high setting seems to be a little too much for me- but my girlfriend is in love with them...
