Re: Side-View Mirror Tint

well you can try to go to any tint shop, get the lightest or second lightist tint on there. I hope the tint can stick on the mirror...glass and mirrors have different textures, glass is very course whereas a mirror is very fine, so it might be tougher to get the tint to adhere properly

Re: Side-View Mirror Tint

hey i just remembered, over here in michigan we have a large retailer store called Meijers (equivalent of Super Kmart or that type of large "everything" store). They have do-it-yourself tint kits, they come in different colors too, blue would look real sharp

Normal tint is on the inside of the windows. So even if you were to tint your side-views, I would think they would get damaged pretty quickly just being exposed to all the outdoor elements.

Re: Side-View Mirror Tint

Does anybody have auto-dimmer SIDE VIEW mirrors? I have never seen that or even heard of that. I know they make them heated, but auto-dimming?

Anyway, why not go out and buy a cheap roll of windown tint film and cut it to fit your mirrors? If it stays on great... if not, you're only out a few bucks for the tint.

Re: Side-View Mirror Tint

I believe quite a few luxury cars have them. My friend's 540i has it on his and my dad's ls430 has them also.
