Got a Recall Letter

Are 03's affected by this? I have recieved a card similar to that a while ago but I disregarded it since it didn't mention what type of recall or warrantee work it was and was not from Infiniti. I wish I have kept that post card... arrgg.
The dealer can, and may give you a hard time about aftermarket parts, if they would require more work to do the recall than if it was stock. If your exhaust, or sway bars, require the same amount of work to do the job, they shouldn't b!tch, but they probably will.
The recall is a PITA, they have to drop the fuel tank. To do that they have to drop the exhaust and sub-frame to get to the tank. Not easy at all.

There has been no "official" release of this recall yet. I just checked Nissan/Infiniti Assist, which tells dealers about recalls, TSB's, and all the Service Manuals. They don't have info on it yet.
The dealer is sending you this letter to get you to come into their dealership when you do get the official notice. They are trying to just get you in the door.
But as of yet the recall has not officially been released, so Infiniti dealers may or may not have all the parts needed or instructions on exactly what to do.
I would wait until the official notice before taking it in to the dealer.

Option 3 (recall info).
Give 'em your VIN number, they'll tell you if you are part of the recall. If you do have the bad hoses, they'll make a note and verify you to go talk to a dealer to get it fixed.
My 2004 G35 Coupe 6mt IS PART of the recall
, but the procedure
(http://www.nissanhelp.com/Ownership/.../NTB06-014.htm)
is so invasive and involved (remove exhaust, suspension, Drive shaft, etc) that I don't even want to let them do it.
I have no symptoms (no fuel leakage on fillup, no lights on, etc).
hmmmmmm.
