Very slow seats and moonroof.....

I swear it takes 5 minutes for the automatic seats to move up and back when someone is trying to get out or in the back seat. I don't think the moonroof is ever going to shut either. WHy is everything so slow??? ANyone else have that problem? THey must of put all the speed in the accelerator!

Re: Very slow seats and moonroof.....

the moonroof works great.. no problem with that, the seats are a little annoying, especially when the people in the back are trying to get out while the seat is still moving forward lol.. whatever, its not THAT slow...

Re: Very slow seats and moonroof.....

I guess I am just used to the seats that manually move up in a few seconds. I use the slow seats as an excuse (seats are broke) so I don't have to drive everyone to lunch.....but people think it is worth the wait to sit in it. Took 5 months to get the G and another 5 to get in the backseat..ha ha.

Aftrbnr you are funny! What do you want 280hp on the seats too? Can you imagine.

And I don't allow no one in my backseat.

Re: Very slow seats and moonroof.....

Here's a fix:

1. Disconnect the electric motors to your seats and sunroof.

2. Move them your damn self, Speedy Gonzalez.

The 6MT: because automatics are for sissies, except with respect to seats, doors, windows, locks, sunroof, traction control, climate control, cruise control, CD changers, station seeking, cabin lights, fuel injection, ABS, intermittant wipers, and airbags. Manual airbags just never caught on, for some reason.

All in good fun,

Re: Very slow seats and moonroof.....

I have to agree with the slow seats a bit. I very rarely have someone in my back seat- I was pissed at my wife the other day because we were volenteered to take her 80 year old grandmother home and my wife demanded on taking the back seat- well needless to say, I got some looks and I even got a thumbs up from some wise *** guy seeing me in a G with an 80 year old woman. haha Anyway- back to the seats- yeah, there slow. The sunroof is an easy fix- I hit the button as I'm coming near my driveway so its closed by the time I go to take the key out.

It may be a safety thing. I don't know if the seats will automatically stop if it senses an obstruction. I can imagine someone with long legs just being squeezed in . So maybe
it is intentional to err on the side of safety.

They probably had to compensate for the quick 0-60. Where else do you think they are getting the 280 horses from? You have to give a little to get a little. They probably saved about 70 horses just on that alone.

Re: Very slow seats and moonroof.....

Aftrbnr, I would have to agree with you on the seat. I know that most don't agree with you because I have posted this question before. First of all I love my G-coupe, but I used to sell acuras 2 years ago, and in the CL 2 doors its got memory seat and mirror and its got one of the fastest powered seats in the industry with "recline", and its got the lever located right under the headrest so that you don't have to bent down to pull the lever. How come infiniti didn't use their design, I really do not know.

Now everyone says that we can't really have everything, but let me break it down, for the $6,000 difference in price our G have 20 more hp and IMO "supercar" looks but have a much smaller truck and smaller interior than the Acura. "IN THE END THE LOOKS AND THE FELL IS WHAT REALLY GOT ME SOLD ON THE G-COUPE", but infiniti really can take some pointers from other luxury car makes "yes" especially with the power seat/ with recline "please".

Re: Very slow seats and moonroof.....

Yeah, maybe I need a supercharger just for the seats and moonroof. Some kind of ugly blower that I can put on the roof which funnels the air down to power the seats.......like this one guy...... named Gseatracer.......he like totally did that.....okay bye
