I planned on getting an Ivory Pearl until I saw the Lakeshore Slate in person. It's such a great color, especially in the sun. I've had my G for almost 9 months and I haven't seen another Lakeshore Slate coupe on the road. I like having a unique color.

Your best bet is to just go to a dealership and look at all of the colors in person and pick the one that you like best. That's what I did.

I wonder how hard it is to find a Lake Shore Slate with Premium Package, Sports Package, Navigation, and most importantly Manual Transmission.

In socal? Are you kidding? If your dealer doesn't have one, they can get you one from another dealer in your state. Just search their inventory on infiniti.com...

Whatever happened with the black interior you wanted?

Well, I was at the dealer Saturday checking out the m35's (different story)...and I saw the Lake Shore Slate with the stone interior.

And in all honesty, I really like the LS the best...and the stone interior wasn't bad at all, granted, not as nice as black...but stone was definitely not bad and I'd be willing to make the sacrifice to get LakeShore.

Nah, I'm straight on white. One of my cuzzins already has a white G coupe, so that kills it for me.

Other than that, I think I'd only get white if I was planning to throw on a kit. But because I'm not, white is out of the running.

Personally....not on the list...but different...Laser Red

Thats what I got...only because I actually had an LS Sedan/stone....loved it (until the accident) and I wanted something a bit different this time...black interior is definitely nice!

Black is the color of my G35 coupe and I wouldn't have it any other way!!! True it can get dirty with a huge gust of wind, but if you wax it right the first time, it will still shine like crazy after dusting off the dust with a California duster or any other duster for that matter. My last 3 cars were black. You have to really love and hate everything about the black to get it. To me it's the only color that looks great in the sun and at night besides a White G35. (I'm a BIG fan of the White G35 coupes! shhh!!!) But here's a rundown of my last three cars which were black.

1. 2004 G35 Coupe Black Obsidian - By far the sexiest car I have owned. Waxed it a week after buying it and she shines like crazy. A fair amount of curves makes it shine so bright in the sunlight on a nice day. (Sorry the only pics I have right now are ones form the dealer when it was on the lot)

2. 2005 Nissan 350Z Super Black - I got the most stares in this car, I got this car to shine so damn bright after the waxing efrforts I put into it. I literally waxed it almost every 2 weeks for the first 3 months I owned it. After that it shined every time after I washed it. You'd need glasses when looking at my car in the sun after it's done being washed!

3. 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT Black - Do not underestimate this car's paint. I bought it and after waxing it and detailing, this car shined like no other car I have ever owned, period! I got a picture of it below. That black is still shiniest paint I have ever seen. Look at the reflection of my apartment on the car's hood! (That red 1989 Cavalier Z24 you see next to my Grand Am GT was my turbocharged project car at the time, it ran 13.6@105mph... That car lasted for 3 months before an oil line blew and the engine shortly thereafter )

In the end Black will have to be your favorite color to buy when getting a car. All the other colors look great as well when cleaned. Honestly, I'm not sure how hard it is to keep the Ivory Pearl clean, but if you are unsure about black, go with Ivory Pearl. Good luck and let us know what color you decided to buy!
