'04 G35 Coupe Auto

Hey guys,

Im having a slight problem, the car will not start correctly. To clarify, when I started the car this morning I had to give it a slight tap on the gas in order for it to start, if I just turn the key then it starts but dies right away. After driving it to work, and coming out afterwards it BARELY started I had just enough power to drive it to the mechanic, he replaced my battery (after testing it and coming to the conclusion that it had very low voltage, he also checked the alternator and said it was fine). I tried starting the car with the new battery and it still does the same thing as this morning (It turns on, but dies right away; only if I give it a slight tap on the gas will it start and run fine). To mention the temp. in Brooklyn, NY right now is ~26 F. Please help me out with this problem, I am thinking its the fuel injectors or the pump. Thanks in advance for your time.

sounds like a starter to me, but it could also be as simple as ur Ztube isnt tight in, because if the air flow isnt regulated and has lil gaps itll mess up ur engine and force the car to run rich and kill it. could be something as stupid as ur windchill is hitting the engine just right and its just too cold. but if it starts then dies, it could be alot. starting problems is something that has like 30 diff reasons of why it doesnt keep goin.

but what u dont do is get pissed off and take a hammer to the hood, it never works out well. trust me i know

UGGGG, sounds like a warranty job. Call your local Infiniti dealer and ask them to come get the car and fix it.
