I know there was a bunch of threads about this before, on people's clutch getting stuck when dumping the clutch from a standstill. Well mine got stuck when downshifted quickly, and gassed up in neutral but did not let go of the gas all the way before putting it in the lower gear. It was a semi-emergency situation, and i needed to downshift quickly.

The clutch stuck, the revs increased. I didn't smell anything till i got home and lowered my windows. Then I smelled that beautiful burnt clutch smell. This is a recorded problem on 05's - has anyone had any luck getting Infiniti to DO anything?? I am soooooo pissed. I don't wanna pay for this when my clutch is gone! or worse, when someone gets killed in an emergency that could have been avoided if the clutch didn't get stuck.

 

I have recently found your exact problem both moving and from a launch. Where is this a documented problem?
