Came home from weekend away.she's totalled

Came home from a weekend in Tahoe to this. Taxi ran into it, sent it into another parked car 30 feet ahead, which sent that car up into a house's stairs. Still can't believe it. I must say that the cabin held up really well, not even a broken window.

Worst part was that there was a passenger in the cab, I sure hope he was buckled up. All I know was that both people were taken to the hospital.

Arrrrrgh!!!

Hopefully the cops won't give you a ticket because your mangled exhaust is sticking out into the red zone! :O

Sorry to hear about the incident.

I am going to try and get them off, if possible. I guess it depends on what the insurance companies figure out. I don't even have a copy of the police report yet (cop has up to two weeks to turn it in). I was lucky enough to not get a street cleaning ticket on Monday, even the SF parking ****'s felt bad for me, I guess.

damn that sucks! that damage looks so bad. i would have freaked out if i came back to my car looking like that. hopefully they will total the car and you can pick up a new one. this is yet another reason why i'm so hesitant to go up to SF (i live in south bay).

good luck and let us know how it goes!

Although its shocking, its not bad news. This exact thing happened to my 1st 03 coupe. Got the insurance money, which was a hefty sum cause the G keeps its value so well, and went right back and got an 05 coupe.

So to recap:

Bad News: Its an inconvenience & pain in the ****.

Good News: NEW CAR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!
