after nissei showoff in s. cali, on the way home I saw that car driving home from Nissei. Followed him for couple of miles, that car sounds like it's always over revving just to take off on first gear... Lost him on Azusa ave

DOT regulations and making it into left hand drive. The biggest problem was that the RB26 is set on mainly on the left of the car. So if the car was left hand drive and has a head on collision going over 45, the engine would drop but also shove itself into the driver's lower half b/c of the steering column etc...

So if you want one, you have to import them as RHD and pay all the EPA, DOT, taxes, ect ect... Comes out to a lot for a R34. Only licensed company that can legalize the R32, R33, and R34 to drive on US roads is Motorex. Other companies that state they can import a Skyline is easy, just getting it legal to drive on the US streets is a different story.
