Red face high RPM on freeway

hey, can anyone tell me ur RPM while you are driving your G coupe at 65MPH 75MPH and 85MPH? thx

I was looking at that yesterday and recall seeing 2750 at 75 mph

hm... thatz weird... i just bought my '06 G coupe AT 2 weeks ago, and when i was driving 70MPH my RPM already reach 3000.. should i take it back to the dealer and let them check it?

a. Are you sure/can you recreate the situation?

b. Does the car take an unusual amount of gas to get off the line?

Take it back to the dealer....sounds like you have a torque convertor problem, unless you were in M mode and dropped it down to 4. I know the ratios for the 6 speed are different, but at 80, I'm at 3000 rpm.

Too high man.....70mph should be around 2700 rpm in top gear of the A/T.

Like Irv. says, maybe you were in 4th gear?????

My old 97 Prelude 5 sp manual was at 4K rpm at 80.

3k in 6th gear goin 80. so 2800-3200 rpm from 75-85 mph roughly.
