Got a call this morning from my salesman and friend- Steve-

btw i just came back from LA, god dammit the weather is in the 80's this week!!!!!!!!! and here i am in michigan its 20 degrees and just snowed 6 inches
good thing my coupe doesnt come till March/April

 

This winter crap really cuts into our G time. I hear you about the weather. 80 in California- I'd settle for 50 right now. My new Coupe's gonna be a garage queen 'till March anyway. It's gonna be a long 2 months for me too...........Let's see...... How many coats of Zaino can I get on by April......... I see a new record coming.....

If your anything like me, the anticipation must be killing you.
The only thing going for us is we both still have our sedans to drive until we drop them off and drive away in our DG coupes!
Imagine what it must be like to the other non G35 owners still waiting.

I just got back from taking a peek at my new Coupe in Brantford. My sweatheart arrived at 11:30 local time and was carefully backed off the truck to go inside a bay. Checked Navi DVD and it's the 6.1 version (the latest). Navi operation itself seems faster than my Sedan. Forgot to look for dual-zone temp control but must be there. A few ammenities different like seat controls, cup holders, extra power point on pass. side, but more or less the same as Sedan. Only 1" headroom in the Coupe as opposed to 2" in Sedan, Trunk a little smaller but bigger pass-thru with fold down rear seat. Lost reclining rear seats and memory driver's seat (I'll miss that). Now have to decide on BSM or not- Looks so cool without, same with wing- I like it without. Tires and wheels as expected- Awsome Mich. Pilots W rated summers tho. Will probly get 2 seasons from them with my snows , then go for SO3's to replace. No splash-guards yet, think still back ordered. Gonna have to get the 3M clear treatment for all round, including body painted panels below doors. Nice to see body colour there instead of black as in Sedan but will need some protection. All I can think of now- I'll post more when I get it Tuesday.........Man you're gonna like it.........

2003.5 Sedan has the extra power point on the passenger side, too.

ryoken, Does the '.5' Sedan have the "cellphone slot" above the extra power point? I forgot to look in the Coupe yesterday to see if that slot is there or not.
I really like the Coupe- it's more ME, but I'll miss the memory driver's seat I have on the Sedan.
I had a 2k2 Max B4 the Sedan and I still miss the heated steering wheel- especially now.
When will we ever get all that we want in 1 car? (without spending $$$$$$$$$$$$$$)
