I just wanted to ask to all the 06 automatic owners...

I have been so used to using the keyless ignition on our 06 coupe, that when i drive my other vehicles I own, i always end up leaving the keys in the ignition and realizing a second later that i have forgotten the keys. Does this happen to you guys also?

also, the dealer told me when you use the keyless ignition, you have to press the brake and turn on the ignition. The other day, i turned on the ignition without using the brake, and it worked. Is that ok? or it doesnt matter

Press the brake? Never heard of that before. The thing I dont like about the intelli-key is that you have to push it in and wait a second for it to click then you can turn it.

On the new Lexus IS its a PUSH-Button. I wonder if thats easier then our intellligent key.

ya its easier than ours but i like this better gives you at least the feel of a real key without the key

Ive heard of the pushing the brake while starting feature, but its not required in Infinitis. I think its Lexus that makes you do this, though I dont see a point to it.

There would be a reason if it was available on the 6MT.

You have to press the brake on the M models but not on the coupe or FX or G Sedan.
The push button you have to use the break while the turn **** you don't have to press the break.

I don't have that problem...my other car is the M.
