+1 It just didn't work on IP so well. Also, fear of it yellowing and then being a ***** to remove in years came to mind after trying the same on an older car.
Likewise, I'm at almost 1 year and have no issues there. The OEM bumper was fine at 1500 miles, but the NISMO has some chips from the 1000 miles it's seen so far.

They are called "stone guards". they are designed to keep rocks from hitting the side of the vehicle because if you notice that is where the rear of the car starts to flare out. they come from the factory like that and are not supposed to be removed but you can. If you ever need to replace them, they are really cheap...20-30 bucks at the most
