This surveys are always manipulated, for example the Acura MDX was always #1 in all surveys follow by the BMW X5 - in R&D CD and Motortrend but when Pontiac do their new SUV, i dont remember the name, Maybe the trailblazer in 2003, the motortrend magazine rated it #1 but dont include the MDX or X5 - so it was clearly manipulated because all the other suv ,and i mean all where included there and in the previous survers and test where the MDX and BMW where the best. IMAO infiniti does not need to be in consumer reports because his reputation preceeds it name. So it is obviously. Consumer Reports works and acts on reported problems from customers, if a company has almost no reports, it will not apear here. Mitsubishi has a lottttttttttttttttt of complaints but the company resolve them. So what the point of buying a new car with a 100/10 year warranty if you have to take the car to warranty fmore than 3 or 4 times a yeras and leave the car for a week or 2. You buy a new car to be always on the move and you expect to never use the warranty. Acura gives you a 4 year warranty but is almost sure you will never have to use it. I have one and i have the car for almost 6 years and i never use the warranty or get any problem with the car except for brakes pads and a battery.

The m35 is their pick for "best luxury sedan". It got the highest overall rankings. Even better than the LS430

I'm a subscriber, have been for years, and I have reported on my G35 for each of the past 3 years. My G has been pretty reliable, but has had a few minor issues. I've reported those issues in the survey. Our 3 year old Mazda 6 5MT however, has been flawless thus far.

Most of the car reviews I've read in CR seem to be written by folks who lack any passion for cars. The fun and enjoyment of driving never seems to be a factor in their review.

As everyone else already said... CR is biased.
