Car Lag

so ive been playing around as of late with my bud..and i really dont punch my car too hard..,till recently.. i have a 5at and ive noticed it has lag real bad,i'll punch it,then like 2 seconds later it'll be like oh..now i go..heh.. but when i roll atleast 10mph and then punch it it has better response and the lag is way less noticable..,ive heard that the "stillen" grounding kit takes care of the lag and should get rid of it..am i correct on this? and if not is their a way to get rid of the lag on the car,its quite weird seeing my buds bmw 325,take me from a dead start..my tires spin, and he's already moving.. and gets ahead, then when my car finally starts to go i finally catch up,but once i hit 2nd and 3rd im always passed him

Lightweight pulleys will help you get out of the hole faster.

Also break tourqing to about 1500 RPM's when at a dead stop in an auto helps as well, making sure to take VDC off if it is in a straight-a-way... once you get going turn your VDC back on so you don't lose traction at higher speeds.

I got mine for like 220.00 and I noticed a difference in the pull. The set came with 3, I only installed 2 tho... The alternator is a PITA to change out, I worked on it for a cpl hrs and said screw it.

I went with regular lightweight pulleys and not UR pullieys. I did not want to mess w/ voltage drain.

instead of jst slamming on the peddle in a race........you put your foot on the break and rev up to about 2k rpm.......then you let go of the brake and punch it........search it for more details

There is no lag in a NA engine. You only experience lag with Turbochargers or Superchargers. The delay or slow response you're experiencing is due to the engine is not operating near it's powerband. Grounding kit will not help because it will not speed the power delivery to your wheels.

disconnect your battery (negative terminal bolt) for 24hrs

that pedal method is bull**** and only resets some minimmilistic stuff

btw, lower your windows by ~1'' - they automatically raise/lower, and with the battery disconnected, they won't be able to and if they're fully up you'll scrape the roof line if you open the door.
