What are the Optomized shift points for 05 6MT?

I have normally changed gears barely 100 rpms into redline, but I have not actually done the calculations for the gear ratios or tried other methods.

Any good calculated shift points that anybody knows of?

well, i can say that in general, the car sort of runs out of ammo a few hundred rpm's before the fuel cut-off, so there seems to be no real point in waiting that long to shift. So, I would shift around 6900-7000 if you were in a 05-06 6mt.

I can't really speak for the 03-04's since I didn't really get to drive one long enough to be able to tell.

cool, I will try the 6900 point to see if that drops me a tenth or so.

I would say 6800 to 7000 no more. There is really no hp or torque gain at those rpms. you are better off getting into the next gear and use the hp and torque since it will be in the middle of the power-band.
