I dont know if this has been talked about yet, but I hate it when it rains and my doors get wet, and then when I open my door to enter, all of the water thats on the top of my door, drops into my interior. Is there a way to fix this so that water does not enter my interior when I open my doors?

use an umbrella.. lol.. i dunno

run your finger lightly across the top of the window- between the glass and the body.

almost all of the water will run down the window...enter said car without water spilling inside

wear a rain coat and some boots

put a towel down on your seat and put on some waterproof pants.
I think they missed this part in designing the car.

Hmmm... I never noticed that through 16 months of ownership. I have no problems about water when I open the door while raining?? I wonder why...

I have the same problem.
I just run my finger along the ridge at the top of the window and it gets rid of all the hanging drops so they dont fall on my seat when I open the door.

The only way I could keep this from happening was to stop driving underwater.

You must live in SoCal huh? haha Damn the rain. There's not much you can do. There's no visor made for our car. All I do is when I open the car and water drops on my seat, use my as* and wipe it dry.

What is this "rain" you speak of?

This doesn't work so well when you are exiting the car.

I haven't had that problem... The car does have a small ridge that should prevent most of it. Perhaps it was raining too hard for it to function correctly...

I do this same thing before getting into my car, by running my finger along and under the trim of the window to remove all the excess water so that it won't fall into the car when the door opens. It's mostly from water that is already on the car such as dew or rainfall from the night before.

You can't stop the rain from coming in your car if it is actually raining out while you're getting in or out of the vehicle(although I will still do the finger-whipe trick if it's raining very lightly and I'm getting into the car.

Someone could easily create rain guards for our car to extend the plane of waterfall out another inch or two from our seats, but it would look like total crap and add aerodynamic drag.

yeah i really hate it when it starts pourin and im in the middle of a drive thru trying to grab a quick bite. the door panel just gets soaked really and theres no way i'm putting those plastic rainguards so i just gotta deal with it
