Fair coupe price
Fair coupe price
What would be a decent price to pay for the options below (if ordering):
- 6 speed manual coupe
- premium
- navigation
- aero
- trunk mat
- body side mouldings
- spash guards
I'm looking for estimates or actual prices people have paid in similar situations.
Thanks.

Re: Fair coupe price
You guys really need to stop with this MSRP stuff.
Lots of people have been paying under MSRP for quite some time now. I've seen several people report as much as $1000 (sometimes even more) off MSRP.
If you listen to the people on this forum and just go in and pay MSRP, then you're a fool.

Re: Fair coupe price
The cost taken off MSRP might also be affected by color choice. When I was shopping for my G a few months ago, two dealers offered me $500 off a silver (forgot what color exactly) but of the 5 or so dealers that I spoke to, no one was willing to budge on the price of the blue that I wanted.
Re: Fair coupe price
if you're getting an 03 then you can get some discounts... dealer I went to was discounting about $1000 off MSRP... however, on 04 coupes there are no incentives or discounts... consider yourself very lucky if you get a discount... it all depends on the dealership, the area you are in, and the amount of inventory the dealer has...
Re: Fair coupe price
I have to agree with Hitman. Some people (especially on this forum) keep touting MSRP, but in reality many people have been getting discounts.... and for a long time at that.
In the northeast, dealers are willing to negotiate with you, so if you walk in and immediately pay full price without even beginning to bargain, then yes, you are a fool.
In the tristate area, its not uncommon to see $1000 off MSRP. And thats for people who did not even grill the dealer too hard....

The dealers always offer you a better price on the color you don't want -- wise up!
I always tell them I wanted a different color, and then watch them bend over backwards to get me into the color they have in stock, which, of course, is really the one I want!!

Re: Fair coupe price
gsg, I understand that. What I meant was color availability. None of the dealers I went to had a actually had a blue coupe (except one) and it just seemed like they had more silver cars on the lot they were looking to get rid of.

Hitman...
i know many people get little off from MSRP but it's really depends on what kind of options you put it... Most likely if you get fully loaded coupe i doubt you will get any discount... but like coupe with auto/premium will likely will get about 1000 discount cuz no one wants coupe with only premium package... it's simple as this... coupe with less options will get discount most likely, but with fully loaded especially nav you won't get any discount...

Re: Fair coupe price
if you find a dealership near NYC that can discount a coupe $1000 off MSRP for a 2004 with all the options let me know... as of yet I haven't found one that would... 2003s yes but nothing off 2004s....
Re: Fair coupe price
man.. ppl should jus do some searches instead of askin the same questions over and over again.. it always ends up with people saying the same thing..
it's true, a lot of people are getting under MSRP, but it depends on location.. in places where the car is still in high demand, you're not going to get anything but MSRP.. so if some people still pay MSRP, that doesn't make you a "fool", it's just that in your respective area, those cars still fly off the lots..

Try the Infiniti dealer on RT.17 in Ramsey, New Jersey.
They offered an '04 coupe with navigation/premium/aero and 6 speed manual trans for exactly $1000 off MSRP. If you go there, talk to Willie.
