R1cky- Just tell the dealership "You know that TSB on the '03 G35 that instructed you to take off the door panels and put padding in them? Double it." They may tell you that yours is past the production date where they started fixing it in-factory, but you can just tell them you know of several other G owners who've had it done, and it's still under warranty, so just do it, please. If he doesn't know what TSB you're talking about, have him look it up in his computer. They still have the padding kits at most of the dealerships, so it shouldn't he hard.

I thought I got my first rattle/buzz last night. It turns out that it was my V1 cable slightly touching the mirror. One tweak and it was gone.

is there a TSB posted for the rattle in the sunroof area?

 

I have WAY too many noises in my sedan, and I am completely bummed with it at this point. Some things have been slightly corrected by the dealer, but NOT eliminated. The most annoying is the driver window. When it is up, there is constant clicking and popping, like the glass is hitting the frame when the vehicle flexes. I am pondering getting rid of the car, as the driving experience is being ruined.
Anyone think an '04 would be any tigher/better?

That really sucks, I'm sorry man. Have you tried a different dealership? Some are content to poke the car with a stick and tell you they tried their hardest. Do the symptoms not occur when you take your tech for a test-drive? Mine sat in silence the entire ride and when we got out, he knew exactly what it was-- and apparently he was right; not a noise since.

I have not ridden with a tech since the very first time I brought it in.
My dealership has been pretty good to me from what I can tell. I have since called Infiniti Consumer Affairs and they have opened a file on me. My car is in today and we will see what they can correct. I truly understand no car is perfect, but I feel there are too many little problems happening.

1800 mi so far here; no rattles, squeaks, vibrations or anything to complain about.

My suspension rattles. It happens on alot of G's and Nissan does not know what causes it. They are investigating ^_^

i dunno if this is happening to anybody else or if this is covered by any TSB, but once in a while, when i'm driving on the freeway, i can hear a rattling from my driver side door.. does anyone know what it is?

i'm thinking about bringing it in, but like we all know, when we want to show them the problem, it never happens.. help me out guys..

 

Since I am becoming the rattle expert...

Does it sound like a popping or a rattle? Is it head level or lower?

it's lower.. like near the seats level.. and it's a definite rattle..

let me know if you have any idea what it is..
