Have had no repairs done yet.

Havent had to; until now, i now have the rear axle clicking. But just that.

Never had or heard a rattle in my car.
And never done/needed to do any TSB work.
Tires wear even so far.
Dealer repalced brakes for me(at no charge) just cuz they were gettting low.

SO FAR I LOVE THIS CAR AND HAVE HAD NO ISSUES TO CRY ABOUT. GLAD I SPENT MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON IT.

Its funny you guys mention the rear axle clicking which I've had since day one. The mechanic went for a drive with me and told me "its the suspension its set up like that" can you say BS? About to take this baby back there and shove it in his face.

I have an 04.5. 20,000 miles. Problems:

1. Brakes replaced 3 times ( front 3 times including new rotors the last time, Rear once)due to squeeking
2. Passgener side rocker molding ripped
3. Dash rattles like a sumbi*ch.
4. Doesn't even come close to keeping up with my dads 06 Z06. ha ha

1 and 2 fixed under warranty, no problems.
Everytime I take it in for the rattling, they just tell me that it is the traction control! BS! I think that I know what the difference is!

Not much can be done for #4!!

Other than these minor problems, the car has been great.

My dealership is great usually. They seem to be pretty mod friendly.

1. Front Tire feathering on insides
2. Rear clicking from axle and shifting brake pads
3. Drivers side seatbelt not retracting (Covered under warranty)
4. Drivers side window motor (Covered under warranty)
5. Weak paint. Very easy to chip. (Installed clear bra on front bumper)
6. Drift to right. Covered under TSB. installed compression rod on right side. Still not perfect
7. Premature wear on rear tires on middle treads. (On 3rd set of tires after only 14,000 miles.......covered by dealer for all sets of tires)
8. Rattles are minimun due to smooth roads in Florida.

i just dropped my coupe off this morning for the factory recall on the fuel hose. Plus they are gonna check out my brakes for free, they are squeeling but im not sure why. I just had the Axxis Ultimate Pads put on there and had the rotors resurfaced. We'll see what they say???

There are two problems with the gas system:

1. Not being able to fill all the way up without the pump continuously stopping in the middle.

2. Gas gauge does not correctly reflect the gas (gauge does not go all the way up after a full tank fill up).

Here are all the problems I've had with the car so far (early 04 build):

* Window motor/regulator dead - had to be replaced.
* Squeaking from rear axle - TSB applied (rear parts ordered and replaced).
* Rattling from rear parcel shelf - TSB applied (Foam added).
* CD changer skips songs (all CDs) - Head unit replaced.
* Leather on Driver's seat is cracking - Hasn't been addressed yet.
* Cannot fill Gas tank all the way up - TSB applied
* Navi acting up, losing orientation and map disappears at time - control unit replaced.
* Gas problem returned (previous fix didn't take care of the problem) - New TSB applied - problem resolved.

Car looks awesome and drives great, I just wish I didn't have so many damn problems. Although these are minor issue, the amount of frustration adds up over time.

I 100% agree with that! I saved for 5 years to get this car and i enjoy it alot.

I too have the click and wasn't sure what it's from. Is this something i should look into to get fixed? The click don't bother me but if its a mechanical defect what do i need to get repaired or replaced to fix it?

Sold My Car Last Month! I see a Saleen S7 in my future!!! Far away Future but I also remember when the G35 was also a vision to achieve!

I want to start out by saying, even though I had all the issues below, this car has been by far my favorite.

1. Both window motors- one went on the coldest day and the other on a raining day...go figure!

2. Head Unit CD

3. Headlights have a long crack in the housing that we have noticed on multiple members cars...won't notice unless you wash your car by hand!

4. Clicking rear

5. Seat belt won't retract

6. Clock light and heated seat lights went out

7. Swiss cheese bumper

1. Windows creaking, replaced motors under warranty.
2. Seat belt won't retract, design problem, same on my QX4
3. Dash rattle, gave up
4. Replaced front brake pads and rotors 3 times. Latest version much better.
5. Oil leak, repeated, different fixes under warranty, still not fixed. (1 year)
6. Headlight lenses fogging over (outside) requires plastic polish regularly.
7. Clear bra due to soft paint
8. Drivers seat loose, warranty replaced motor mechanism
9. Rear ashtray broke, never used, warranty

I never had the gas tank, tire or the cd problems. Out of warranty now and I am still trying to find someone that can fix the oil leak.

Still like the car, too much fun.
