The gas guage isn't the problem, isn't it something with the tank? On on empty tank, I can only put 8-10 gallons before it won't take anymore. That doesn't mean it's full, but maybe an air lock. Gas guage works perfect.

2. Seat belt won't retract, design problem, same on my QX4

4. Replaced front brake pads and rotors 3 times. Latest version much better.
5. Oil leak, repeated, different fixes under warranty, still not fixed. (1 year)
6. Headlight lenses fogging over (outside) requires plastic polish regularly.
7. Clear bra due to soft paint
8. Drivers seat loose, warranty replaced motor mechanism
9. Rear ashtray broke, never used, warranty

I never had the gas tank, tire or the cd problems. Out of warranty now and I am still trying to find someone that can fix the oil leak.

Still like the car, too much fun.
I've heard that the brakes and rotors were fixed for 03 models free of charge, but the warranty doesn't extend to the 05 models. My brakes are already starting to squeak and I only have 20,000 miles on my 05.

They were covered under warranty for the AT models only. The 6MT Brembo models were not covered. Apparently Infiniti/Nissan changed the pads on the 05s to something better.

killed the minor door rattles I had in my G. Can help you out if you have them. The problem areas might surprise you and how easy they were to fix.

Well... considering this is a OLD thread... might be more problems now since the cars are now 8-9 years old

Lucky!!! My car has 41k miles and I've been Replacing them since it had about 30k. Started doing it as soon as the warranty expired. Have taken it to mechanics n nobody can figure out y. Gonna end up taking it to the dealer instead n see what they say.

The key is to keep the car in top shape... change oil/filter (I have used Mobile 1 5/30). CSP sensors are easy to change, but sorry to hear that you have issues.

you should replace all three with OEM if you want reliabilty.
23731-AL61A drver side, 23731-AL60c passenger side and 23731-6J90B, crankshaft sensor assy Magnet (behind the oil pan in the crankcase).
