I agree, for a third car the S is perfect for his situation... with those 2 cars he definitely need a weekend car like the S2K to enjoy. I say MOD the S2k though to complete the whole package.

Based on what he said, "given the the information that he provided us about his circumstances", it is more wise to change.

most of us agreed to keep the S2k because he does have 2 other car (Acura TL, FX45) that can fulfill his need for entertaining clients or even for long driving. the S2k is a great balance and swapping this with the G will just be useless. Driving the TL and G will almost feel the same because they have almost the same power and engine size V6 and having the S2K will be a nice compliment since this is a High Reving engine and has go-kart feel.

If S2k is his only car then it make sense to swap, but in his situation there is no need.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: If he must have th G then i suggest to swap it with the TL.

hmmm that's a though choice... only if you had two cars but since you have three and THREE CARS THAT I LOVE. i would do this. buy the g35 as a fourth

one being i have a g35 and love it even more now.

two my brother has a s2000 as a second car and i use to take it out and oh man it's a fun car!

but if i was in your situation (assuming you're rich, actually i dont even need to assume due to the fact that you own three nice cars) i would get the G as another weekend car

Dude says he wants G for this, again based on what he said the switch is better.

this is the ONLY sound suggestion as an alterative to the s to g switch that i have seen posted. But again its his choice based on needs.

Those who say get it as fourth have no idea of his finances or abilities, as far as i know the majority of our country cant afford to be runnin 4 luxury/sports cars.

oh yea of course the people that say get the fourth don't know his financial situation, however, the people that say that, and being me as the few people who say that, assume that he is well off based on his situation of having three very nice luxury cars. He's is obviously well off, or moderately well off which in that case if it was moderate i would think he would only have two cars. A normal family would still have trouble affording two luxurious cars that is assuming they aren't so well off.

SHOOT even now for young adults that want to purchase houses are having trouble everything is just so exspensive now!

I def agree with this, being 23 and building/buying a new home 2 months ago in cali was very difficult with the real estate costs these days.

You can solve this dilemma by asking yourself...

how hardcore are you?

are you doggystyle with some playful slapping harcore, or
are you S&M bukkake stylie with a studded paddle hardcore?

I've driven both cars.

The S2000 is a purists' mechanical scalpel and will be a legend in the years to come. The G35 is an enthusiasts' cultured beast, developing some love handles, but still sprightly.

Obviously, I own the G35, but for a while, was very close to ditching it for a 01-03 S2000 and picking up a VW golf/jetta TDi for a daily driver (with two mods, the panzer can develop more torque than my G35c). I could probably break even doing that still, but I'd have to face all the depreciation since I bought the coupe new.

Anyways, given your situation... if it were me, I'd stick with the S2000. But if you're not quite the purist, you might not miss it as much as I would.

good luck in any case. It's never bad to have a new member in our disturbed little family.
