Downgrade to lower GAS due to high price on gas?
Around here, Costco and Sam's Club sell premium (91 octane) for less than other stations sell 88-89 octane gas. In fact, it's occasionally been cheaper than regular was at some stations. I filled up today at $2.639 for 91 at Costco, and premium at most other stations was $2.78-2.80. You might consider a membership.
Doesn't hurt the car in any way to once in a while go to 89 octane. OR you could try going to the cheap *** Arco station and still use what they consider to be 91 octane.
Just ease up on the gas pedal a bit more so you can try to maximize your MPG a bit.

it'll save you a lot of money later on....
i am most likely going to buy a 1983 320i haha 4 banger and stick too! the cost of it? 500 bucks. almost as close to an intake, though it might have problems but it's going to be a risk like everything else in life. just treat your G right... it's a great car!

why would you do that? When you bought the car you should understand that you are obligated to fill it with premium........dont downgrade it will mess up the engine
