Suspension/Wheels vs. FI Dilemma

Suspension/Wheels vs. FI Dilemma
I didn't even know which board to post this question on so sorry if it's not in the right place.
I just wanted to hear some of your guys' opinions. Maybe some of you are in the same situation.
I've been in the wheels and FI forums a lot lately and have been torn between what my next and probably only big upgrade will be. I've already done all the breathing mods minus the headers, so here's the fork in the road.
Should I spend $3-4k on some nice Volks and a nice drop? I've been seeing a lot of everyone's nice cars and it makes me envious. Making the car look great would really be a nice touch to everyday enjoyment of the car. Plus that added suspension tightness would add to the driving enjoyment.
Or, should I save for the the $6-7K Turbo route? Yes, it's double the amount of the wheels/suspension, so the downside is that it's really expensive. I've always wanted boost and more power, but have always been afraid of the potential endless money pit and compromised reliability that comes along with it. Although, that feeling of being pressed in the back of your seat is very addictive and oh so enjoyable.
Taking into consideration that finances are a factor, I could probably only do one or the other. What path would you guys take and your reasons?
