1st oil change free from dealer?

I got my 06 mt in march after a 2 month wait. Fast approaching the 3000mi oil change. was wondering if the 1st oil change is standard to be free at the dealership which you bought it from OR is it something that had to be prenegotiated? I bought mine at peninsula infiniti. I was thinking of giving the dealer a call to setup thte appt. Also how much should i be expecting to pay if it's not free? thanks.

It's not free everywhere, I guess some dealerships throw it in for free. Since I bought my G at invoice, I didn't get anything for free but there isn't anything else I could have asked for

I went to the Nissan dealer for my first one ($25). Didn't even know they threw those in. Then again, I live about 30 miles of L.A. traffic from my dealer and I'm not about to drive that distance for $25. However, I asked the local Infiniti dealer about mailers so I can get a discount and guess what? They gave me the 7500 miles service for free. Not bad considering I didn't even buy it there. That was at South Bay Infiniti and I bought mine at Glendale.

I got free scheduled maintenance for 2 years. I suppose it depends on the dealer.

Yeah, it just depends on the dealer. I didn't get anything except for a coupon book for future services
