You can always buy a new rear deck without the hole. If so let me know how much that cost I want to do the same thing.

I purchased "garage guard" at PepBoys for about $11, removed old brake light and see the result. The padding looks actually better than original - more texture and when brushing does not "get bold". I made a paper template, cut the padding and "slid" it under side panels.

I was thinking the same thing . . . Where are the speakers?

I removed my rear 3rd brake light sometime ago. I use a piece of 16ga. anodized aluminum to cover up the remaining hole. I purchased a dark colored wool fabric, which matched the color of the rear deck and wrapped the piece of aluminum with the said. Unless you are looking for it, you cannot tell.

I have standard Bose system. I prefer performace and aero (packages).
I guess one could cut out opennings for speakers, too.
BTW - Bose is VERY overrated. My old Crysler had Infinity speakers - much better.

I think you mean no Bose. Bose has speakers on the rear shelf, no Bose does not. I also agree that Bose is overrated.
