I just got my 06 coupe, and it came with a kit to remove the console lid for "better shifting comfort" and I was wondering if anyone actually used it, and if so how it looked.

 

I know this is a old post, but when I searched before I bought this jdm armrest delete kit, I couldn't find anything worth a crap, so here, to all future searchers (^_^)

I didn't really have a difficult time shifting with the armrest there, It didn't bother me, but now that its gone, wow I really like how roomy my arm feels now. Definitely worth buying if you can find one.

and the last pic, Not sure why all the complaining on g35 cupholders, I have 5 in the middle. And if you get the little slot divider things for the sliding compartment cup holders they hold a soda can perfect.
