Yeah I love my G coupe's exhaust note. I'm so spoiled by it that I'll be even more disappointed when I get my MZ4, which will sound like crap just like the E46 M3. Whenever you see a BMW 3-series and it sounds like an old crappy fishing boat, you know it's an M3.

BTW I do like the G35's sound, but there are others that sound better, but none in the G's price range.

I'm sorry, but Porsche's boxter engines sound crappy to me. Most of them sound like leaky air conditioners with water cooled radiator.

I am seriously entertaining the idea of swapping out my Borla back to stock exhaust + aftermarket Y-Pipe and Borla exhaust tips.

I love the G's exhaust note, but sometimes I hear mid 90's Volvos with an exhaust note that is very similiar, just a bit deeper. Strange..

the g35 is hands down the sexiest sounding exhaust in its price range. IMO its one of the best out there because just starting up the car gets my adrenaline flowing lol... i want to buy headers and cats though, to make it a lil louder while keeping the same unique tone. dam i love my car

Mine got a decent amount louder with a Z-Tube, K&N Filter and a Motordyne Spacer..... especially at high RPM's.

I felt the G used to get quieter before these mods when I tached it up, but now it gets louder with higher RPM's.

Though not as nice/sexy as the g35coupe exhaust, the EDJ20T or EDJ25T boxer engine has a deep and low rumble.

They don't sound too bad at idle either, especially with the Sports Exhaust option. How they sound like leaky air conditioners is beyond me, but evryone has their own opinions.

I get complements all the time on my exhaust, people love it. It got a bit of a deeper rumble when I added headers, but still kept the same basic sound. Its a beautiful thing, all my friends are very impressed when I rev it.

I agree with you guys. I have only had my G35 for a week and I love this thing. I would like to make it just a tad bit louder but keep the same tone. Will an aftermarket y-pipe do this for me??

Yeah, our exhaust is sweet. Driving around in public garages is pretty awesome. I just love revving my engine while parked in my garage. I think I am going to kill myself one day because of the exhaust note and carbon monoxide. Yikes....
