Coupe needed for test fit! ASAP

Hey all -

Fast Intentions located in SoCal -Northridge - San Fernando Valley - needs a G35 Coupe to do a test fit for their new Intimidator Exhaust system. The system has been completed for the 350Z, but they need a Coupe with stock manifolds to test fit and augment the mid-section for G35 specific jigs.

Here's the thread link if you unfamiliar
https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust/91857-you-asked-tease-first-looks.html

If your interested - PM me - first come first served - the car that is chosen will be offered the templated system at group buy pricing before it is made available to anyone else.

Thanks!

Rick

if you already made the 350z one, all you need is a straight 8" extension from the mid-pipe connecting the Y-pipe. All the rest is exactly the same.

Not to be rude - but I guess that's why your not designing exhaust systems

We're not doing this like every other manufacturer out there - with clamps and the lazy way! We're doing this the RIGHT WAY!

The FI system is made by hand - with the highest quality parts - all flanged - mandrel bent - WITHOUT SHORTCUTS AND EXTENSIONS!

The 2 systems are being done properly with separate jigs for their respective center sections - in other words DONE RIGHT - with less work for installer and less chances for leaks and maintenance, with much better vehicle serviceability!

I didn't intend on writing a book here - but it's important to understand why this little task is so important in the end.

..after all - how do you want your next exhaust system built!

I guess I miss the memo that this was suppose to be for FI? And I don't really care if you made it with titanium or with inconel or t304. It is just an exhaust, in and let it out. If it's for FI then straight pipe all the way. My concern was if you want "test fitting" then you were wondering if it would fit? Then What I said was you already know it fits in 350z then just add 8" to your straight section. If you weren't trying to be rude then you wouldn't have said that I wasn't designing an exhaust, what if I was? It is inconsequential, my input was harmless to your progress but your reply was just a publicity stunt using me as a pedestal.

Hey man -

I'm sorry - I didn't mean to come on that strong. It's not for an FI system...FI for Fast Intentions.

We've done our research and testing and know very well the length differences between the cars, and know that the front and rear sections will fit fine - it's the middle that need to be re-jigged for a one piece fitment.

I also didn't really mean to imply anything by any other statements - just a long day - looking for interested parties - not solutions we didn't need.

Again..sorry!

Rick
