Angry Broken speaker cover (Passenger door panel) PEASE HELP

Well long story, but my speaker cover was cracked/broken on my passenger side door panel. I was thinking that piece was replaceable, but the guy in the parts dept. told me that it is part of the door panel, and the entire door panel must be replaced. $700!. Please tell me this is not true.. somebody..

definitely part of the door panel.. i just took mine apart two weeks ago to fix a rattle and I could find no way to get at that part.

Dammit. That is not the news I wanted to hear. But thanks, I guess I gotta do what I gotta do huh!

^ +1... The whole door panel is practically one piece unfortunately. You probably can do some modding to just change out that area, but that could be a lot of work which will involve some cutting. Not sure how well that would turn out. =\

Yea exactly. IM not too sure how that would turn out either, probably worse Thanks though

That sucks that just the speaker grill can't be removed (not the surround), like most cars.
