Question How much does an exhaust install cost??

well i have an exhaust that i need to put on my car this weekend. It was for a 350z so i need to have an extension made from the Y - to the mid pipe about 8"s or so...

I was just wondering approx. how much should i be looking to pay for the entire install with the need of an extension being made to custom fit the car?

TIA..

if anyone in the S. Florida area can reccommend a shop that would be great.

Did you ever think that for some people... installing it themselves costs them MORE money then having it done by a shop? Time = money my friend...

If I had not been fortunate enough to score a free lift, I would have had someone install my exhaust and sway bars. It took less than 2 hours for entire install. Crawling around on the my bad back is not my cup of tea. I would venture a guess that a shop would charge a minimum of at least 2 hours for an exhaust install. A few of the premium shops here charge as much as $150.00 for the installation of sway bars.

For many people that have the tools and the know how with regard to certain mods, it's not about the money. For many people, modding is a hobby and affords much self satisfaction upon the completion of a mod.

As such, your time is much more precious. Hope you find a good place for your install. I trust that your finals are quite productive.

just wondering since we're on the topic of self installs.. whats a good way to remove bolts that are on stiff as hell? I mean under the car on jack stands you really don't have much room or space to do anything...
